Composition and form of issue:

1 ml reception inside contain nikethamide 0, 25 g in vials-droppers of 15 and 25 ml or in vials of dark glass of 30 ml, box 1 vial.

Pharmacological action:

Stimulates the Central nervous system, stimulates the respiratory (partly due to the stimulation of chemoreceptors carotid glomeruli) and vasodilatory centers.

Does not have a direct stimulating effect on the heart and vasoconstrictor in high (toxic) doses can cause clonic seizures.

Indications:

The weakening of the respiratory function of patients with infectious diseases (especially in the period of convalescence, under hypotonic conditions).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, predisposition to convulsive reactions.

Drug interaction:

Incompatible with ascorbic acid.

Anesthetic drugs eliminate analeptic effect.

Effects of impaired PAS, opiniated, chlorpromazine and other phenothiazine derivatives.

Method of application and doses:

Inside, regardless of the meal, adults 15-40 drops 2-3 times a day, children — as many drops at the reception as the child years.

Higher doses for adults: single-60 drops daily-180 drops.

Special instruction:

With an overdose, convulsions are possible.
