shell auxiliary components: gelatin glycerol 85% sorbitol hydrochloric acid solution 13% hypromellose phthalate dibutyl phthalate
blistere in 10 PCs., in box 2 blisters.
Description of dosage form:
Gelomyrtol Forte. Soft gelatin capsules, transparent, oblong. The contents of the capsules-a transparent colorless liquid with a characteristic smell.
Gelomyrtol. Spherical soft translucent gelatin capsules. The contents of the capsules-oily transparent colorless liquid with a characteristic smell.
Characteristic:
Expectorant drug of vegetative origin.
Pharmacokinetics:
After oral administration is well absorbed in the small intestine. Cmax in blood plasma is achieved after 1-3 h after taking the drug. Approximately 60% of the drug and its metabolites excreted in the urine, 5% — with feces, about 2% — lungs. It can penetrate through the placental barrier into the milk of lactating women.
Indications:
Complex therapy of inflammatory respiratory diseases (acute and chronic bronchitis, sinusitis).
Contraindications:
- hypersensitivity to the drug components
- gallstone disease
- urolithiasis
- bronchial asthma
- The first trimester of pregnancy
- lactation
- children up to age 6 years (Gelomyrtol) and up to 10 years (Gelomyrtol Forte).
Use during pregnancy and breast-feeding:
Contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Due to the lack of special studies during pregnancy (II–III trimester) should be used with caution on prescription, provided that the intended benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus.
Side effect:
Possible allergic reactions (itching, skin rash, swelling of the face, bronchial spasm), shortness of breath, tachycardia, dry mouth, stomach pain, flatulence, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, increased mobility of kidney stones and gallbladder.
If you develop any other side effects after taking the drug, you should immediately consult a doctor.

Dosage and administration:
Inside, 30 minutes before meals, drinking plenty of water at room temperature.
Gelomyrtol Forte
Adults and children over 10 years
Adults: in acute inflammation-1 caps. 3-4 times a day for chronic inflammation-1 caps. 2 times a day to facilitate the discharge of sputum in the morning-an additional 1 caps. before bedtime.
Children from 10 to 18 years of age: in acute inflammation — 1 capsule. 2 times a day for chronic inflammation-1 caps. per day.
The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the symptoms of the disease and is determined by the attending physician.
Gelomyrtol

Adults: in acute inflammation-2 caps. 4-5 times a day (8-10 caps. per day) in chronic inflammation — 2 caps. 3 times a day to facilitate the discharge of sputum in the morning-an additional 2 caps. before bedtime (8 caps. per day.)
Children from 6 to 10 years: in acute inflammation-1 caps. 3-4 times a day for chronic inflammation-1 caps. 2-3 times a day.
Children from 10 to 18 years of age: in acute inflammation — 1 capsule. 4-5 times a day for chronic inflammation-1 caps. 2-3 times a day.
The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the symptoms of the disease and is determined by the attending physician.
Overdose:
Symptoms: in case of accidental overdose, nausea, vomiting, convulsions, in severe cases — coma or breathing disorders are possible. In rare cases, after severe intoxication, there may be violations of the CCC.
Treatment: appointment vaseline oil at a dose of 3 ml / kg gastric lavage 5% sodium bicarbonate solution (baking soda) ventilation with oxygen.
