Composition

1 tablet contains diosmin 500 mg, 

excipients: hyprolose (hydroxypropylcellulose), calcium hydrophosphate dihydrate, magnesium stearate, sodium carboxymethyl starch (sodium starch glycol), microcrystalline cellulose, selecout AQ–01812: hypromellose (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), macrogol (polyethylene glycol 400), macrogol (polyethylene glycol 6000), titanium dioxide, iron oxide yellow, quinoline yellow.

Pharmacological action

Venolek - angioprotective tool. The active substance of the drug — diosmin belongs to the group of natural biologically active compounds. The drug also includes flavonoids-hesperidin. The drug has a venotonic and angioprotective action. Reduces the extensibility of veins, increases their tone and reduces venous stagnation, reduces permeability, fragility of capillaries and increases their resistance, improves microcirculation and lymph flow. With systematic use reduces the severity of clinical manifestations of chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremities.

Indications

Symptomatic therapy of venous insufficiency of the lower extremities: feeling of heaviness and pain in the legs. Symptomatic therapy of acute hemorrhoids.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, lactation. Children under 18 years of age.

Use during pregnancy and breast-feeding

In pregnancy, the drug Venolek possible. Experimental and clinical studies have not shown embryotoxic, mutagenic and teratogenic effects. To date, there have been no reports of any adverse effects in the use of the drug in pregnant women, but it is necessary to assess the risk and benefit in the appointment of the drug to pregnant women. When lactation, taking the drug is not recommended due to the lack of data on the penetration of the drug into breast milk.

Dosage and administration

Venolek taken orally during meals. With venous insufficiency-2 tablets per day (at noon and evening). In acute hemorrhoids - 6 tablets per day (3 tablets 2 times) for the first 4 days, then 4 tablets per day (2 tablets 2 times) for 3 days.

Side effect

Diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, malaise, allergic reactions (skin rash, itching, hives).

Special instruction

In case of exacerbation of hemorrhoids, the appointment of this drug does not replace the specific treatment of other symptoms of hemorrhoids. The duration of treatment should be short. If short therapy does not give a positive effect, it is necessary to conduct a proctological study and review the therapy used.
