Pharmacological action
Ointment contains heparinoid — high-molecular weight compound with antithrombotic, anti-inflammatory and moderate protivoekssoudative action.
Due to the low concentration geparinoida in the product, even if its absorption, significant systemic effects are unlikely. Enhanced antithrombotic effect was noted only at the site of application geparinoida.
Testimony
Superficial thrombophlebitis, periflebit, tenosynovitis, post-traumatic edema and hematoma, contusions and sprains, fresh hypertrophic and keloid scars. Also used to soften hardened skin with chronic venous insufficiency and to improve scarring of wounds after injuries or operations.
The dosage regimen
On the affected area and around it put a layer of ointment about 1 mm thick, gently rubbing into the skin 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment is 1-2 weeks.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the ointment, until the age of 14 years. If the blood clotting drug should not be used on extensive areas of skin. Ointment should not be applied to mucous membranes, open wounds, not allowed her eye contact.
Side effects
There may be a temporary redness or itching of the skin. Rarely during treatment may experience hypersensitivity to the drug component in the form of local swelling and redness of the skin, burning sensation or itching, sometimes rash in the form of small bubbles. In such cases, the drug treatment is stopped.
Special instructions
During the last trimester of pregnancy and during lactation the drug should not be used long-term and on large areas of skin due to increased risk of bleeding.
Drug interactions
It is impossible to apply ointment at the same time with other medicinal products for topical use containing tetracycline, hydrocortisone, and/or salicylic acid.
Overdose
Not described. In case of accidental ingestion by a child of a large amount of ointment can cause nausea or vomiting. It is necessary to wash out the stomach.
