Composition

1 tablet contains 2, 4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg, amylmetacresol 600 µg, vitamin C 100 mg, 

inactive ingredients: anise oil, orange oil sweet, levomenthol, tartaric acid, Ponceau 4R edicol, "sunset" yellow edicol, curing of the liquid confectionery sugar and liquid glucosido obtain a tablet weight of 2, 6 g

Pharmacological action

Strepsils has antiseptic effect, is active against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms in vitro, has an antimicotic effect.

Indications

Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx (to relieve pain when swallowing).

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to the drug components. 
  
• Children's age (up to 12 years). 
  

With caution: pregnancy, lactation, asthma.

Use during pregnancy and breast-feeding

The use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation is possible only under the supervision of a doctor.

Dosage and administration

Adults and children over 12 years: dissolve one tablet every 2-3 hours. Do not take more than 12 tablets within 24 hours. Children 12-17 years old do not take more than 8 tablets for 24 hours.

Side effect

Allergic reaction.

Overdose

Symptoms: overdose is unlikely, possible overdose can lead to discomfort from the gastrointestinal tract: nausea. 

Treatment: symptomatic under the supervision of a doctor.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding +25°C.

Shelf life

3 years.
