Cathode-a complex drug used in the treatment and prevention of diseases in animals. The drug can be used for both domestic animals and cattle and other farm animals. Catosal on the basis of vitamin B12 and Batistuta has a tonic effect, a positive effect on metabolism, increases immunity and resistance to diseases. In agriculture it is used to accelerate the growth and development of the animal
Composition:
Catosal as active substances it contains (in 100 cm3) butafosfan - 10,0 g, cyancobalamin - 0.005 g of methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate - 0.1 g, and as auxiliary component water for injection.
Cathode 10% is used by animals intravenously, intramuscularly, subcutaneously or with drinking water (poultry).
Doses:
horses and cattle-10-25 ml;
foals and calves-5-12 ml;
sheep, goats-2.5-8 ml;
lambs-1.5-2.5 ml;
pigs-2.5-10 ml;
pigs-1-2.5 ml;
dogs-0.5-5 ml;
cats, fur animals-0.5-2.5 ml.
If necessary, the drug is administered again the next day.
For poultry, 10% cathode is added to the drinking water at the rate of:
Chicks and juveniles of 1-1.5 ml per 1 l of drinking water;
broilers and laying hens — 2-3 ml per 1 l of drinking water.
In chronic diseases, and healthy animals administered half the dose of Catosal 10% specified above. If necessary, the course of treatment with the drug Cathode 10% is repeated after 5-14 days.
