The composition and form of issue:

Ointment. 1 g contains:

the Viper venom ordinary, mouse units of action (MED) 0, 05

salicylic acid 10 mg

camphor racemic 30 mg

of gum turpentine in emulsion-based 10 mg

excipients: vaseline cetylstearyl alcohol paraffin solid sodium cetylstearyl sodium chloride glycerin purified water 

the aluminum tubes to 30 or 50 grams in a cardboard bundle 1 tuba.

Description pharmaceutical form:

Ointment of white or white with a slightly yellowish color, with a smell of camphor and turpentine.

Description pharmacological action:

Causes irritation of the sensory receptors of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, dilates blood vessels, improves tissue trophism.

Indications:

  • neuralgia
  • arthralgia
  • myositis.

Contraindications:

  • increased skin sensitivity to the ingredients of the ointment
  • lesions of the skin
  • pulmonary tuberculosis
  • cerebral and coronary circulation
  • the tendency to vasospasm
  • severe violations of the liver and kidneys
  • pregnancy
  • the period of breastfeeding.

Application of pregnancy and breast-feeding:

Contraindicated in pregnancy. At the time of treatment should stop breastfeeding.

Side effects:

If you are sensitive skin to the components of the ointment may experience itching, swelling or urticaria.

In order to avoid side effects it is recommended to apply a small amount of ointment to the skin to determine sensitivity.

Method of application and dose:

Local. 5-10 g applied to the painful areas and RUB 1-2 times a day until the disappearance of pain syndrome. The duration of treatment depends on the nature and severity of the disease.

Special instructions:

If you swallow the ointment you should contact your doctor. After application of the ointment should be thoroughly wash hands to avoid getting ointment into the eyes and mucous membranes. You can not apply the ointment to damaged skin.
