Lobelon is an injection solution for the treatment of respiratory diseases in animals. In appearance, the drug is a colorless transparent liquid.
Structure
As active substances, Lobelon contains matrix tinctures of vegetable, organic origin and mineral components (in 1000 ml): Acidum formicicum 0 = D l 50 ml, Apis mellifica 0 = 0 1 - 100 ml, Atropa belladonna 0 - 20 ml, Echinacea purpurea 0 - 15 ml, Ferrum phosphoricum 04 trituration - 500.0 mg, Hepar sulfuris 04 trituration - 10.0 mg, Kalium Bichomisim 0 = 0 2 - 500 µl, Kalium stibyltartaricum 0=02 - 5 µl, Lobelia inflata 0 - O, 15 µl, Lycopodium clavatum 0 = 0 1 - 1 µl, Psychotria ipecacuanha 0=01 - 1 µl, Sambucus nigra 0 - 15 µl, Vincetoxicum 0 - 20 µl and excipients: methyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium chloride, sodium acetate trihydrate, hydrochloric acid, ethyl alcohol 95%, water for injection.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Combined homeopathic medicinal product.
Lobelon has an anti-inflammatory, anti-bronchoconstrictor antitussive effect, regulates the production of bronchial mucus, improves pulmonary ventilation. Biologically active substances of plant, mineral and organic origin included in the composition of the drug in ultra-low concentrations stimulate the production of anti-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1 O, IL-4), regulate the processes of chemotaxis and the production of a number of biologically active substances (IL-1, IL-6, IL-8, TNF-a), which play an important role in the development of inflammation and bronchospasm.
According to the degree of exposure to the body, the drug belongs to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007), does not have a locally irritating and sensitizing effect.
Purpose
Lobelon is prescribed for therapeutic purposes to animals with respiratory diseases of the respiratory tract, including infectious etiology: rhinopharyngitis, laryngitis, tracheobronchitis; bronchial asthma (as part of complex therapy).
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Lobelon is used intramuscularly or subcutaneously in single doses: dogs - 0.1 ml / 1 kg of animal weight; cats - 0.1 ml / 1 kg of animal weight (but not less than 0.5 ml / animal); horses - 5.0-8.0 ml / animal; cattle, pigs - 5.0 ml / animal; goats, sheep - 2.5 ml / animal; foals, calves - 2.5 ml / animal; piglets - 1.0 ml / animal.
In acute cases 1-2 times a day for 5-10 days; in chronic diseases 2-3 times a week.
The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the doctor, but not more than 1 month. If necessary, the course is repeated.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Symptoms of drug overdose in animals have not been established.
The peculiarities of the drug's action during its first use and cancellation have not been established.
The peculiarities of the use of the drug in pregnant animals, in animals during lactation, in the offspring of animals have not been established.
Skipping the next dose of the drug should be avoided, as this can lead to a decrease in therapeutic and preventive effectiveness. If one dose is missed, the use of the drug should be resumed as soon as possible in the same dose and according to the same scheme.
Products of animal origin during and after the application of Lobelon® can be used without restrictions.
Contraindications
Contraindication to the use of the drug is an individual hypersensitivity of the animal to its components.
SIDE EFFECTS
When using Lobelon in accordance with this instruction, side effects and complications are usually not noted. With increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug and the occurrence of allergic reactions, the use of the drug is discontinued and antihistamines and symptomatic therapy are prescribed to the animal.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
The shelf life of the drug, subject to storage conditions in the manufacturer's closed packaging, is 3 years from the date of production, after the first opening of the bottle - 21 days. Lobelon should not be used after the expiration date. Lobelon is stored in the manufacturer's closed packaging, separately from food and feed, in a dry place protected from direct sunlight at a temperature from 0 to 30 ° C.
