The composition and form of issue:

1 capsule contains piroxicam 10 or 20 mg pack of 20

Pharmacological action:

Inhibits cyclooxygenase, inhibiting the synthesis of PG.

Indications:

Rheumatoid arthritis, deforming osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, tenosynovitis, soft tissue injuries and musculoskeletal system, gout, neuralgia, acute pain of radicular origin.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, bronchial asthma, renal and hepatic failure, pregnancy, lactation.

Side effect:

Diarrhoeal disorders, liver and kidney, headache, drowsiness or insomnia, depression, swelling of ankles, photosensitivity, rash.

Drug interaction:

Reduces the effect of diuretics. In combination with anticoagulants reduces the ability of platelets to aggregate.

Method of application and doses:

Inside, 20 — 40 mg per day in 1-2 reception.

Precautionary measures:

At the time of treatment should be deleted alcohol.
