The composition and form of issue:

Sponge. 1 cm2 contains active substances:

fibrinogen 5.5 mg

thrombin 2 IU

auxiliary substances: albumin, arginine hydrochloride, collagen sodium chloride sodium citrate Riboflavin

in paper-plastic container is packaged along with a drying agent in the aluminum foil, sponge 1 size of 2.5×3×0.5 cm., the paper cartons 1, or 3 pieces or a size of 4.8×4,8×0,5 cm, the paper cartons 2 PCs or size 9,5×4,8×0,5 cm, the paper cartons 1, 5 or 10 PCs.

Pharmacological action:

Substrate (fibrinogen) and catalytic (thrombin, etc.) activates blood clotting.

Description pharmacological action:

The plate is glued to the wound surface due to the polymerization, lasting 3-5 min and generates strong adhesion. Upon contact with a bleeding wound or body fluids contained in the covering layer of the plate and the coagulation factors — fibrinogen, thrombin etc. — are released under the action of thrombin, fibrinogen is transformed into fibrin, Aprotinin inhibits plasmin and inhibits fibrinolysis, is formed a solid clot. The plate itself dissolves and later (3-6 weeks) replaced by connective tissue.

Indications:

Hemostasis and gluing of tissues during surgical interventions on parenchymatous organs (liver, spleen, pancreas, lymph nodes) stop bleeding during operations on the ENT organs, gynecology, urology, traumatology, vascular and bone surgery, etc. to create a seal during surgical procedures on the lungs for the prevention and treatment (especially when it is impossible or unfavorable results of conventional methods) lymphatic, biliary and cerebrospinal fluid fistulas.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity.

Application of pregnancy and breast-feeding:

Acceptable, but only under strict indications.

Side effects:

It is not revealed.

Method of application and dose:

Locally, in a sterile environment at the wound surface (cleansed from blood, disinfectants and other solutions) are placed side sponge coated with coagulation factors (marked in yellow), and press for 3-5 min at sufficiently moist wounds, apply without additional moisture for dry wounds it is recommended to use wet sponge with a saline solution (for full connection with the dry areas) and immediately put on the wound. The size and number of sponges choose depending on the size of a closed wound wound edges should overlap by 1-2 cm If closure of the wound surface, use a couple of sponges, the edges of them when the overlay should overlap (superimposed on each other in the form of "shingles") if necessary, the sponge is cut before or after application to a wound. Unused fragments of the sponge be destroyed.

Precautions:

Plate must be used in strict compliance with the conditions of sterility (cut with sterile scissors, etc.). Before proceeding to the overlay plate recommended cleansing surgical gloves and instruments from the blood and fluids (including disinfectant). The remaining fragments of the drug shall not apply.
