Composition

Pharmacological action

When applied to the skin, sulfur interacts with organic substances, forming sulfides and pentathionic acid, which have antimicrobial and antiparasitic effects.

Method of application

The course of treatment lasts 5 days. On the first day, the treatment is carried out in the evening before going to bed after a thorough wash in the shower with warm water and soap. The ointment is rubbed into the skin of the hands, then the torso and legs, including the soles and fingers. After skin treatment, only clean linen and clothing should be used. On the 2nd and 3rd days make a break in the treatment, with the remnants of the ointment is not washed off from the skin. On the 4th day in the evening, the patient washes with soap and rubbing the ointment, as on the first day, using the remaining ointment and once again change all the linen. Hands after treatment should not be washed for 3 hours, then hands treated with ointment after each wash. In the case of washing off the ointment from other areas of the skin, they also need to be re-treated. Ointment completely washed off the skin on the fifth day of treatment.
