The composition and form of issue
Hloropiramin solution for in/in and/m introduction:
1 amp. contains chloropyramine hydrochloride 20 mg, in a package 5 or 10 PCs.
Pharmacological action
A blocker of histamine H1-receptor, a derivative of Ethylenediamine. Hloropiramin provides and protiwallergicescoe protivozudnoe effect. It causes sedation. Has peripheral anticholinergic activity, mild antispasmodic properties.
Testimony
Allergic diseases, including urticaria, serum sickness, angioedema, hay fever (hay fever), allergic rinopatii, allergic conjunctivitis.
Skin diseases, including contact dermatitis, acute and chronic eczema, drug rash, pruritic dermatoses.
Itching insect bites.
Contraindications
Glaucoma (for parenteral administration), benign prostatic hyperplasia, urinary retention (for parenteral administration), the simultaneous admission of MAO inhibitors (for parenteral administration), gastric ulcer in acute phase (for parenteral administration), acute severe asthma, pregnancy, lactation, early infancy up to 1 year, increased sensitivity to chloropyramine or other derivatives of Ethylenediamine.
Side effects
CNS: possible weakness, drowsiness, weakness, light tremor, dizziness. In children there may be some stimulating effect on the Central nervous system, manifested by anxiety, increased irritability, insomnia.
From the digestive system: possible dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or constipation.
Of the cardiovascular system: rarely- a decrease in blood pressure (usually elderly patients), tachycardia, arrhythmia.
Allergic reactions: possible skin rash, itching.
Other: rare - shortness of urination.
Method of application and doses
When administered to adults, and 25 mg Chloropyramine 3-4 times/day., children depending on age - to 6.25-12.5 mg 2-3 times/day. The maximum dose for adults is 150 mg/day.
