Expiration date: 04/2026

Solcoseryl eye gel
Composition:
Deproteinized dialysate from the blood of healthy dairy calves 20% Benzalkonium chloride-0, 1 mg / g
Excipients-Sodium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose, sodium EDTA, sorbitol, water for injection.
Pharmacological action:
Activator of metabolism in tissues. Intended for topical use in ophthalmology (eye practice). It is a deproteinized (protein-free) extract of the blood of calves, free of antigens (substances that can cause an allergic reaction). Improves the utilization of oxygen by tissues, accelerates the flow of necessary nutrients and facilitates the removal of metabolic products (metabolism). Stimulates and accelerates the regeneration (recovery) in damage to the cornea (transparent shell of the eye) and conjunctiva (outer shell of the eye) of various etiologies (causes). The gel provides a uniform and long-term coverage of the cornea and, consequently, continuous penetration of the drug into the affected tissue.
Indications for use:
Ulcers, erosion (superficial defect of the mucous membrane) of the cornea of various etiologies, traumatic corneal damage, chemical burns of the cornea with alkalis or acids, radiation damage of the cornea and conjunctiva, keratitis (inflammation of the cornea), including bullous keratitis (corneal disease characterized by the formation of fluid - filled bubbles on it), pre-and postoperative treatment in keratoplasty (operations to replace the damaged area of the cornea), as a contact medium with amnioscopy (method of examination of the fetal bladder).
Method of application:
The gel is buried in the eye directly from the tube 3-4 times a day for 1 drop. Close the tube immediately after use. The gel is suitable for use within a month after opening the tube. The gel can be combined with most antibiotics and with Mydriatics (means, dilating the pupil), usually used in the treatment of corneal ulcers.
Side effect:
Extremely rare-a slight burning sensation that does not require discontinuation of treatment.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the drug components.
Form release:
Eye gel in tubes of 5 g.
Storage conditions:
In a cool, dark place.
