Pharmacodynamics
Valocordin® - combined drug whose therapeutic action is due to the pharmacological properties of the components included in its composition. Phenobarbital has sedative and mild hypnotic effect. It helps reduce CNS excitation and facilitates offensive natural sleep. Etylbromisovalerianate has sedative, hypnotic and antispasmodic action.
Testimony
- functional disorders of the cardiovascular system (including false angina, sinus tachycardia);

Contraindications

Side effects

Interaction

Alcohol increases Valocordin® effects and may increase its toxicity. The presence of phenobarbital Valocordin® may induce hepatic microsomal enzymes which makes it undesirable simultaneous use with drugs that are metabolized in the liver, since their concentration, and accordingly the efficiency will vary as a result of rapid metabolism (indirect anticoagulants, antibiotics, sulfonamides) . Phenobarbital reduces the effect of coumarin derivatives, corticosteroids, griseofulvin, oral contraceptives.
Dosing and Administration
Inside, before a meal, with a small amount of liquid.
The dose is determined individually.
Adults are usually prescribed for 15-20 drops 3 times a day.

Overdose
Symptoms of mild to moderate intoxication observed drowsiness, dizziness, psychomotor disturbances.
