The composition and form of issue:

1 ml drops contain framizetin 5 mg, gramicidin 0.05 mg and dexamethasone 0.5 mg in bottles of 5 ml.

Description pharmacological action:

Antibacterial bactericidal effect broad spectrum, active against various gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms (due to the framizetin and gramicidin), including Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus faecalis, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Proteus spp., Pseudomonas spp. Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp. etc. Has anti-inflammatory, antiallergic and antipruritic properties (glucocorticoid dexamethasone). In zacapawanyi in the eye reduces the pain, burning, photophobia, and lacrimation, which is characteristic for the respective pathological processes.

Indications:

Surface bacterial eye infection accompanied by pronounced inflammatory or allergic component of the blepharitis, infected eczema eyelids, barley, allergic conjunctivitis, rosacea keratitis, scleritis, episcleritis, iridocyclitis, iritis, acute and chronic otitis externa.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, viral (including herpes), or fungal infections, tuberculosis, purulent inflammation of the eyes, glaucoma, perforation of the eardrum (for use in ENT practice).

Application of pregnancy and breast-feeding:

The safety of the drug during pregnancy and lactation is not established.

Side effects:

Irritation, burning, pain, itching, dermatitis at the site of application, increased intraocular pressure, subcapsular cataracts (with prolonged use), corneal thinning (for diseases of the cornea or sclera, accompanied by a decrease in the thickness of these shells).

Method of application and dose:

1-2 drops in affected eye up to 6 times per day or more often. 2-3 drops instilled into the ear 3-4 times a day. Rate — up to 7 days.

Precautions:

Must be applied only after an accurate diagnosis and exclusion defeats viral and fungal origin. The duration of treatment should not exceed 7 days (except the obvious positive dynamics of the disease), because long-term use of glucocorticoid, a member of the drug can mask latent infection and antimicrobial components contribute to the emergence of resistant microflora. The course should not be repeated without a doctor's prescription in order to avoid increased intraocular pressure, cataract formation or infection of the eye. During treatment advised to refrain from driving a car or operate machinery requiring high visual attention.

Special instructions:

You should be particularly careful when assigning the drug in high doses to infants and younger children. A prolonged intensive course of local treatment can have an overall systemic effect.
