Release form and composition:

The thick syrup, from light orange to orange color, with a characteristic odor.

10 ml contains:

Ambroxol hydrochloride 15 mg

chlorphenamine maleate 2 mg

guaifenesin 100 mg

fenilafrina hydrochloride 5 mg

Excipients: sucrose, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, parahydroxybenzoate, disodium edetate, sorbitol, glycerin, menthol, citric acid, sodium citrate, flavor of melon, dye sunset yellow, purified water.

100 ml - vials dark glass (1) - packs of cardboard.

Pharmacological action:

Combined medication used for colds. Guaifenesin and Ambroxol reduces the viscosity of bronchial secretions and facilitate expectoration. Chlorphenamine maleate has anti-allergic effect: relieves watery eyes, itchy eyes, and nose. Fenilafrina hydrochloride has a vasoconstrictor effect, reduces swelling and hyperemia mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract and paranasal sinuses.

Pharmacokinetics:

Data on the pharmacokinetics of the drug Ringold Broncho is not available.

Indications:

— symptomatic treatment of colds, influenza and respiratory catarrh, accompanied by cough with viscous sputum difficult to spit.

Dosing regimen:

The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years: 20ml (4 tsp. L.) 3 times/day.

The recommended dose for children aged 6-12 years: 10 ml (2 tsp. L.) 2-3 times/day.

Receiving the drug should be spread evenly throughout the day. Before use the syrup should be shaken.

Side effects:

From the cardiovascular system: possible rise in blood pressure, tachycardia.

CNS: headache, drowsiness, dizziness, anxiety, disturbance of sleep. Children can agitation, anxiety, irritability. The elderly patients can also be confusion, irritability.

From the digestive system: nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhoea, pain in the epigastric region.

On the part of the organ of vision: mydriasis, paralysis of accommodation, increased intraocular pressure.

Allergic reactions: skin rash, itching, angioedema.

Other: dry mucous membranes, difficulty urinating.

Contraindications:

— seizures of different etiologies

— severe atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries

— arterial hypertension

— diabetes

— hyperthyroidism

— pheochromocytoma

— angle-closure glaucoma

— peptic ulcer of stomach and duodenum

— prostate cancer

— deficiency of enzyme glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase

— pregnancy

— lactation (breast-feeding)

— children's age (till 6 years)

— simultaneous reception tricyclic antidepressants, MAO inhibitors, beta-blockers

— simultaneous reception of other preparations containing active substances included in Ringold Broncho

— hypersensitivity to the drug.

With caution should designate product in kidney and/or liver failure.

Pregnancy and lactation:

The drug is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.

Special instructions:

Not recommended taking the drug for more than 7 days without medical supervision.

In applying the drug may staining of urine in the color pink.

Overdose:

Symptoms: increased severity of side effects.

Treatment: gastric lavage, reception activated carbon, laxatives (mineral oil, saline laxatives) symptomatic therapy. When expressed violations you should consult a doctor.

Drug interactions:

The drug increases the effects of sedatives, ethanol.

Concomitant use with antidepressants, phenothiazine derivatives (chlorpromazine, trifluoperazine, levomepromazine), antiparkinsonian and antipsychotic drugs increases the risk of developing urinary retention, dry mouth, constipation.

While the use of corticosteroids (prednisone, dexamethasone, triamcinolone) increases the risk of developing glaucoma. Chlorphenamine should be consumed in conjunction with MAO inhibitors (nialamid), furazolidonom can lead to hypertensive crisis, excitation, giperpirexii.

The application together with tricyclic antidepressants, enhanced sympathomimetic effects with the halothane - increases the risk of ventricular arrhythmias, as guanetidine - reduced anti-hypertensive effect. Guanetidin, in turn, increases the alpha activity given fenilafrina, part of the drug.

The simultaneous use of Ambroxol and guaifenesin with antitussives leads to difficulty othozdenia patients.

Terms and conditions of storage:

The drug should be stored out of reach of children at temperature not exceeding 25°C. do not freeze. Shelf life - 3 years.
