digoxin 0, 25 mg

excipients: silica colloidal anhydrous magnesium stearate gelatin talc starch corn lactose monohydrate 

Description of dosage form:

Round, flat tablets almost white, odorless, chamfered, with a "D" mark on one side.

Dosage and administration:

Inside. Adult. As with all cardiac glycosides, the dose should be chosen with caution, individually for each patient. If the patient before the appointment of digoxin took cardiac glycosides, the dose should be reduced. The dose of digoxin depends on the need for rapid therapeutic effect.

Rapid digitalization (24-36 h) is used in emergency cases. The daily dose of 0, 75-1, 25 mg, divided into 2-3 doses (every 6-8 hours). After achieving saturation, go to supportive care.

Slow digitalization (5-7 days). The daily dose of 0, 125-0, 5 mg is prescribed once a day for 5-7 days (until saturation), after which they switch to maintenance treatment.

Maintenance therapy. The daily dose for maintenance therapy is set individually and is 0, 125-0, 75 mg. Maintenance therapy is usually carried out for a long time.
