rifampicin 150 mg

Method of application and dose:

Inside, on an empty stomach, 30-60 minutes before eating.

TB — 450-600 mg/day (adjusted body weight), the average daily dose for children older than 3 years — 10 mg/kg (but not more than 450 mg/day) 1 times a day 30 minutes before meals. Contraindicated in infants.

Carriage of meningococci 600 mg/day for 2-4 days to children — 20 mg/kg 2 times a day for 2-4 days.

Gonorrhea in 1 day — 900 mg/day, in the 2nd and 3rd days — 600 mg/day.

In other infections in the acute period of 900-1200 mg/day in 2 doses, after the disappearance of symptoms treatment continued for another 2-3 days children under 7 years — 20-30 mg/kg/day, neonates 15-20 mg/kg/day in 2 admission.
