Pharmacological action
Antiabstinentnoe (anti-alcohol) effect of drugs aimed at relieving the symptoms of acute alcohol abstinence (anxiety, seizures, hyperexcitability, sleep disorders). The anti-alcoholic effect of drugs is aimed at reducing the attraction to alcohol. The nootropic effect of drugs is aimed at optimizing metabolic processes in the Central nervous system in order to restore cognitive and motor functions. Active ingredients: L-threonine, pyridoxine hydrochloride. Excipients: povidone (polyvinylpyrrolidone low molecular weight), citric acid, magnesium stearate.
Interaction
Weakens the toxic effect of antipsychotic drugs (neuroleptics), anditepressants, barbiturates and other drugs that depress the Central nervous system.
Indications
Reduced mental performance and concentration. Alcohol abuse. Chronic alcoholism in the actualization of pathological attraction to alcohol, combined with: affective disorders: irritability, low mood, internal discomfort. Sensory impairments: the feeling of hunger. Ideational disorders: thoughts about alcohol. Abstinent alcohol syndrome. Maintenance of remissions.
Contraindications
Alcoholic intoxication. Simultaneous administration of drugs that depress the Central nervous system: anxiolytics, antipsychotics (neuroleptics), antidepressants, etc.
Side effect
Dizziness, increased sweating.
Method of application and dosage
The drug is prescribed in tablets under the tongue or as a powder after grinding the tablet. As a means of increasing attention, mental performance: Children, adolescents and adults: 1 tablet 2-3 times a day for 3-10 days. If necessary, the course is repeated 3-4 times or more a year. Patients with chronic alcoholism and alcohol abuse: Appoint 1-3 tablets to receive 2-3 times a day for 4-5 days. If necessary, the courses are repeated 5-10 times a year. In the treatment of alcohol withdrawal syndrome: Appointed in the first day 1-4 tablets 3-4 times a day (daily dose of 3-16 tablets), in the second day and then 1-2 tablets to receive 2-3 times a day (daily dose of 3-6 tablets) for 21-28 days. The duration of the course can be shortened to 10-14 days. The greatest effect is achieved when it is combined with the drug Glycine (tablet 0, 1 g). Glycine is taken under the tongue for 10-15 minutes before taking the drug. In remission to identify twisted attraction to alcohol: Take 2-3 tablets on an empty stomach.
