Pharmacological action

Gator has hepatoprotective, antidepressant effects.

Testimony

Intrahepatic cholestasis, hepatitis of various origins: toxic (including alcohol), viral, drugs (antibiotics, anticancer, antitubercular and anti-viral drugs, tricyclic antidepressants, oral contraceptives), pretsirroticheskie condition, liver cirrhosis, encephalopathy secondary origin, depressive syndromes, including secondary, as well as when alcohol withdrawal syndrome.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Application of pregnancy and breastfeeding

Gator not recommended in the I-II trimester of pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

Method of application and doses

Intramuscularly or intravenously (intensive therapy): Gator appoint 400-800 mg daily in 5-10 ml of solution for first 2-3 weeks. Intravenous should be administered very slowly. The powder for injection is dissolved only in a special enclosed solvent (solution of L-lysine) immediately before use. 

Side effects

Due to the fact that the active substance has an acidic pH, some patients may experience discomfort in the epigastric region when applying Gator. In any case, these feelings are short-lived, are not pronounced and should not be used as a reason for cessation of treatment.
