The composition and form of issue:

1 sachet with 1 dose of powder for drink preparation 18, 9 g contains sodium chloride 3, 5 g, potassium chloride 2, 5 g, sodium citrate 2, 9 g glucose and 10 g in a pack of 20 pieces

Pharmacological action:

Restores the water-electrolyte and acid-base balance.

Pharmacokinetics:

T1/2 is 1 h. Excreted by the kidneys.

Indications:

Diarrhea in children treatment and prevention of thermal losses, associated with violation of water-electrolyte metabolism (intense sweating).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, impaired renal function, diabetes.

Side effects:

It is not revealed.

Method of application and dose:

Inside, regardless of meals. The contents of the sachet dissolved in 1 l of cold freshly boiled water. Diarrhea: 50-100 ml every 3-5 min or by nasogastric tube over 3-5 hours (daily dose with a light course of the disease 40-50 ml/kg, with an average weight of 80-100 ml/kg).

Supportive therapy: 80-100 mg/kg/day until diarrhoea has ceased and restoration of water-electrolyte metabolism.

Heat cramps, polyuria, thirst: 500-900 ml portions of 100-150 ml during the first 30 min repeat every 40 min until symptoms subside.

Storage conditions:

Reconstituted solution may be stored in the refrigerator for more than 24 hours.
