Active substance: Nicotinoyl gamma-aminobutyric acid

Composition and form of release:

1 ampoule with 2 ml of solution for injection contains nicotinoyl-gamma-butyric acid 0.2 g in a package of 10 PCs.

Pharmacological action:

Improves the functional state of the brain by normalizing the metabolism of its brain tissues and optimizing cerebral circulation.

Description of pharmacological action:

Increases the volume and linear speed of cerebral blood flow, reduces the resistance of brain vessels, improves microcirculation.

Indications:

Disorders of the cerebral circulation (acute ischemic, subacute and recovery periods of ischemic stroke, chronic insufficiency of the cerebral circulation), vegetative vascular dystonia, asthenia, depression, senile psychosis alcoholism (withdrawal period), acute alcohol intoxication, migraine, traumatic brain injuries, neuroinfections, primary open-angle glaucoma (to stabilize visual function).

Contraindications: 

Hypersensitivity, kidney disease.

Side effect:

Nausea, headache, dizziness, irritability, agitation, anxiety, allergic reactions (rash, itching).

Dosage and administration: 

Parenteral. For cerebrovascular diseases — 0, 02-0, 05 g 2-3 times during 1-2 months for depression — 0, 04-0, 2 g in 2-3 doses per day for 1, 5-3 months for asthenia and neurosis — 0, 04-0, 08 g/day, in some cases — up to 0, 2-0, 3 g/day for 1-1, 5 months for alcoholism: during abstinence — 0, 1-0, 15 g/day (course — 6-7 days), outside of abstinence — 0, 04-0, 06 g for 4-5 weeks.
