The composition and form of issue:

Gel for external use, 100 g contains:

diphenhydramine hydrochloride 1 g

inactive ingredients: cetylpyridinium chloride 0.1 g macrogol glyceryltrinitrate (softgen 767) — 15 g polyacrylic acid and 1.2 g of trometamol — 2.22 g purified water — 80,48 g 

in tubes of 20 g or 50 g in a cardboard bundle 1 tuba.

Description pharmaceutical form:

Colorless, transparent, homogeneous gel.

Pharmacological action:

Antiallergic effect due to the presence in the product is diphenhydramine hydrochloride, which is a blocker of histamine H1-receptors. As a result, the drug quickly relieves itching, reduces pain, hyperemia, reduces the increased capillary permeability, tissue swelling, causes local anesthesia. Has a pleasant cooling effect.

Special gel base protects the skin and leaves no visible trace.

Indications:

• sunburn and burns of 1 degree
  
• insect bites
  
• urticaria
  
• itching of different origin
  
• itchy eczema
  
• varicella
  
• allergic skin reaction (except for pruritus in cholestasis)
  
• contact dermatitis, caused by contact with plants.
  

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Application of pregnancy and breast-feeding:

With caution in pregnancy and breastfeeding (it is better to stop breast-feeding).

Side effects:

In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions (redness and mild swelling of the skin, which was applied the drug). When applied topically drug side effects of a systemic nature is not observed.

Drug interactions:

Increases the effects of alcohol and drugs, oppressive Central nervous system. MAO inhibitors increase the anticholinergic activity of diphenhydramine. Antagonistic interaction observed with a joint appointment with psychostimulants.

Method of application and dose:

Externally. Apply to the affected areas of the skin (a strip of gel of 3-5 cm length in the area of damage the size of your palm) 3-4 times per day and distribute with a light massage.

Overdose:

Symptoms: the increasing incidence of side effects.

Treatment: symptomatic (flushing with water, administration of drugs that increase blood pressure, oxygen, breath-control, the introduction of plasma-substituting liquids). You cannot use EPI and analeptics. Special antidote does not exist.

Precautions:

During treatment should avoid sun exposure and alcohol consumption, and exercise caution in activities requiring increased attention and rapid mental reactions.
