Structure and Composition: 

Suppositories for rectal administration. One suppositorie contains:

bisacodyl 0.01 g

Excipients: suppository bases (Witepsol) - a sufficient amount to obtain a suppository weighing 1,19-1,31 g

Pharmachologic effect:

Irritating to mucous membrane receptors of the colon and increases peristalsis. It stimulates the excretion of water and electrolytes into the intestinal lumen and blocks the reabsorption.

Clinical Pharmacology:

The therapeutic effect is within the first hour.

Indications:

Hypotonic dyskinesia of the colon in the elderly, after surgery and childbirth, at a dietary regulation power mode stool with hemorrhoids, proctitis, anal fissures preparation of the colon for surgical interventions, instrumental and radiological investigations.

Contraindications:

Acute inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, rectal bleeding, acute hemorrhoids, acute proctitis, spastic constipation, intestinal obstruction.

Side effect:

From the digestive tract: abdominal pain, diarrhea.

Dosage and administration:

Rectal after sweeping enema or spontaneous bowel cleansing. Adults and children over 14 years - 1-2 suppositories, children 8-14 years -. Supp 1, 2-7 years -. 1/2 supp.
