Clinical and pharmacological group

A nootropic drug

Pharmacological action

Cerebrolysate is a preparation of brain tissue that contains amino acids and biologically active peptides that penetrate the blood-brain barrier and directly enter the nerve cells. Cerebrolizate improves metabolic processes in brain cells, activates protein synthesis in neurons, increases resistance of brain tissue to intoxication, hypoxia, hypoglycemia, improves the state of regulation mechanisms and bioelectric activity of the brain, increases the reserve compensatory capabilities of brain hemodynamics. All this leads to a decrease in the severity of neurological deficit.

Dosage

Is injected intramuscularly for 1-5 ml every day or two. The course of treatment 20 injections. After a 3-6 month break, treatment can be repeated cerebralization (after consultation with a doctor). In neuropediatric practice - intramuscularly, 1-2 ml (up to 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight) for 10-15 days, with the repetition of the course 2-3 times a year.
