Water-electrolyte balance regulators

For regulators of water and electrolyte balance and acid-base balance (acid-base balance) are medicinal products (dimephosphone, sodium chloride, etc.), whose action is directed on correction of the water content of the electrolytes (water-electrolyte balance) and the concentration of hydrogen ions (mainly defining KHS). These basic factors of homeostasis are maintained and regulated by the interrelated functioning of the respiratory, excretory and endocrine systems. Any even minor changes in the content of water or electrolytes (sodium, chlorine, bicarbonate, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, etc.) can lead to serious, life-threatening consequences. Correction of disorders of acid-base balance is mainly aimed at the elimination of acidosis or alkalosis and cation imbalance.
