Composition
1 tablet contains: active ingredients: antibodies to the C-terminal fragment of the beta subunit of the insulin receptor, affinity purified - 0.006 g, antibodies to endothelial NO (nitric oxide) synthase, affinity purified – 0.006 g (a mixture of three active aqueous-alcoholic dilutions of each substance is applied to isomalt, diluted respectively by 10012, 10030, 100200 times); auxiliary components: isomalt, magnesium stearate, crospovidone.
Description
The drug is available in the form of tablets for resorption: flat-cylindrical, from almost white to white in color, with a risk and a chamfer, on the side with a dividing risk is the inscription MATERIA MEDICA, on the other side
Action
Sublette is a hypoglycemic drug.
Pharmacodynamics
Sublette is a complex hypoglycemic drug intended for inclusion in the complex therapy of patients with diabetes mellitus if they have insulin resistance.
The mechanism of action of the drug is due to the effect of a synergistic effect on the sensitivity of somatic cells to insulin, which occurs due to the nonspecific NO-dependent activation of intracellular signal transduction from the insulin receptor. This increases the effectiveness of insulin therapy, helps to stabilize the doses used, and reduces the likelihood of side effects.
Through the mechanisms of allosteric modulation, antibodies to the C-terminal fragment of the beta subunit sensitize the insulin receptor, which leads to an increase in its sensitivity to endogenous and injected insulin and activation of insulin-dependent glucose metabolism.
Antibodies to the beta subunit have a moderate hypoglycemic effect (when taken on an empty stomach, the level of glycemia decreases by 0.7–1.4 mmol /l). Their long-term use is not accompanied by the development of side effects in the form of hypoglycemia, acidosis, impaired hemostasis and hematopoiesis, and increased body weight. The effect of antibodies to endothelial NO synthase causes an increase in endothelial NO synthase activity and NO content, which has an endothelioprotective effect.
Vascular reactivity decreases, vascular spasm decreases, blood pressure levels normalize, and peripheral microcirculation improves. In addition, antibodies to endothelial NO synthase have a moderately pronounced psychotropic effect, which is manifested by such effects as anti-anxiety, anti-asthenic, and vegetative-stabilizing. Against the background of taking the drug, the severity of complications of diabetes mellitus decreases: cardiovascular disorders, nephropathies, neuropathies.
Pharmacokinetics
Ultra-low doses of antibodies are technically impossible to detect in biological fluids, tissues, and organs, so the pharmacokinetics of the drug has not been studied.
Indications for use
The use of Sublette is indicated for diabetic patients with insulin resistance as part of complex therapy.
Contraindications
The use of Sublette tablets is contraindicated in patients with individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Side effects
Hypersensitivity reactions may develop.
Interaction
There is no information about incompatibility of the drug with other medicines.
Method of administration and dosage
Sublette tablets are taken orally, not swallowed whole, but held in the mouth until completely dissolved. The drug should not be taken during meals. Recommended dosage: 1 pc. 2-4 times a day. The doctor sets the frequency of admission individually, taking into account the degree of diabetes compensation.
Overdose
Symptoms: dyspeptic symptoms. Treatment: prescribing symptomatic therapy.
