Pharmacodynamics:

It is active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria; yeast-like fungi and dermatophytes; lipophilic viruses such as Herpes simplex virus and hepatitis b virus.

Indications

  • Treatment of the skin and mucous membranes before diagnostic and operative measures in pediatric, surgical and obstetric-gynecological practice, in traumatology, proctology, dermatovenerology, otolaryngology, dentistry.
  • For treatment of wound and burn surfaces.
  • For the prevention of fungal infections of feet and interdigital mycoses.

In children's practice without age restrictions.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Use during pregnancy and breast-feeding

The use of the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is possible if the intended benefit to the mother exceeds the possible risk to the fetus or child.

Before using the drug, if you are pregnant, or suggest that you might be pregnant, or planning a pregnancy, you should consult your doctor.

During the period of breastfeeding, consult a doctor before use.

Special instruction

When rinsing the oral cavity, do not allow swallowing of the drug. Do not allow the drug into the eyes.

Influence on the ability to control transp. and fur.:

The drug does not affect the ability to drive or engage in other potentially dangerous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Octenidine dihydrochloride 1.0 mg

Phenoxyethanol 20.0 mg

Excipients:

Sodium chloride 0.5 mg

Propylbetaine fatty acid 3.0 mg

coconut oil (cocaine)

Sodium gluconate 4.0 mg

Glycerol anhydrous 5.0 mg

0.05 M sodium hydroxide solution to pH 5.0 - 7.0

or 0.05 M hydrochloric acid solution

Water for injection up to 1.0 ml.

Description:

Transparent or almost transparent, colorless or slightly colored liquid, not containing visible suspended particles.

Dosage and administration

Outwardly. Locally.

The treated area is alternately treated with 2 tampons, abundantly moistened with the drug.

The affected surface must be treated completely. On hard-to-reach areas of the drug can be applied by spraying. Exposure time is not less than 1-2 minutes.

To rinse the oral cavity, 20 ml of the drug is used, re-rinsing is recommended after 20 seconds.

For the prevention of fungal diseases, the skin between the toes and feet is treated with the drug 2 times a day (morning and evening). The treatment period is up to 14 days.

If there is no improvement or symptoms worsen or new symptoms appear after treatment, you should consult your doctor. Use the drug only according to the indications, the method of use and in those doses that are specified in the instructions for use.

Side effect

The possibility of a short burning sensation at the application site. When rinsing the mouth possible bitter taste.
