Structure and Composition:
1 ml of nail polish contains amorolfine 50 mg in bottles of 2.5 or 5 ml kit for treatment of nails, including tampons soaked in 70% isopropyl alcohol to clean the nails (30 or 60 pcs.), Nail file (15 or 30 pcs.) and a spatula for applying varnish (5 or 10 pcs.).
Pharmachologic effect:
Damages fungal cell membrane, mainly due to the violation of the synthesis of sterols. It reduces the content of ergosterol, causing accumulation of abnormal sterols flatness stereoisomers.
Indications:
Treatment and prevention of onychomycosis caused by dermatophytes, yeasts and molds.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity, children's age (young children and infants).
Side effect:
Burning sensation on application areas.
Dosage and administration:
Outwardly. Lacquer is applied to the affected nails of fingers or stop one or two times a week. Prior to the application using the supplied (single) sawing remove the affected area, then the surface is cleaned with the help of ready-made tampons (moistened with alcohol) before re-varnishing repeat the procedure. Treatment continued continuously until the new nail will grow and the affected area will not be cured: 6 months (fingernails fingers) or 9-12 months (toenail).
Precautionary measures:
During treatment is not recommended to use cosmetic nail polish and artificial nails. When working with organic solvents should wear impermeable gloves.
