The composition and form of issue:

Ointment 1 g contains:

fluocinolone acetonide 0.25 mg

neomycin sulfate 5 mg

excipients: propylene glycol liquid paraffin anhydrous lanolin vaseline white 

in the box to 15 grams in a cardboard bundle 1 tuba.

Pharmacological action:

Inhibits phospholipase A2, reduces synthesis NG, etc. biologically active substances (fluocinolone) disrupts the structure and function of cytoplasmic membranes of microbial cells and cause their death (neomycin).

Description pharmacological action:

Reduces the permeability and alters the structure of tissue and cellular formations, reduces the migration of macrophages and lymphocytes, affects all phases of inflammation, blocking the release of sensitised fat cells and bazofilov gistamina and other biologically active substances, has anti-allergic and antipruritic effect. Active against many gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, including resistant to other aminoglycosides.

Indications:

Allergic and inflammatory skin diseases complicated by secondary bacterial infection, trophic ulcers of legs, boils, folliculitis.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, tuberculosis, viral and fungal skin infections, primary purulent infection of the skin and soft tissues.

Application of pregnancy and breast-feeding:

Not recommended (especially drawing on the extensive surface of the skin and/or prolonged use).

Side effects:

Atrophy of the skin and subcutaneous fat, volchanochnopodobny syndrome with mild, emergence or worsening of symptoms red flat denying, violations epithelization, slow healing of wounds and ulcers, petechiae, steroid purpura, striae, hirsutism, baldness in women, herpes simplex, maculopapular skin rash.

Method of application and dose:

Externally, a small amount applied to the affected skin 2-3 times a day, not more than 2 g/day, after remission of an acute inflammatory process 1-2 times a day. If necessary, apply a breathable bandage. When there is excessive peeling of the stratum corneum of the epidermis (lichenization) or excessive keratinization abnormal areas, perhaps the use of occlusive dressings, which are changed every 24-48 h. the Course of continuous treatment is not more than 2 weeks.

Children older than 2 years with care, only 1 times a day in small areas of the skin.

Should not be used during pregnancy, breastfeeding, children up to 2 years.

Precautions:

With prolonged use and when applied to large areas of skin (under occlusive dressing) patients should undergo systematic surveys (perhaps a manifestation of systemic side effects).
