Tablets, 1 tablet contains active substance: 

purple Echinacea herb (Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench) dried juice 80 mg

excipients: silica colloidal anhydrous lactose magnesium stearate sodium saccharine vanilla flavoring cherry 

blistere in 10 or 20 PCs per pack 1 carton (20 PCs) or 2 (10 PCs) blister.

Description pharmacological action:

Immunal is an immunostimulating drug, made from medicinal plants.

Echinacea purpurea (Echinacea purpurea (L.) Moench) contains active ingredients that strengthen the natural body defences and acting as immune stimulant.

Increasing the number of leukocytes (granulocytes) and stimulating phagocytosis, the active substance of the drug inhibit the reproduction of microorganisms in the human body and contribute to the destruction of pathogenic bacteria. Additionally, installed anti-viral effect of the herb of Echinacea purpurea against pathogens influenza and herpes.

Indications:

Immunal is recommended to apply:

  • to strengthen the immune system in patients with uncomplicated acute infectious diseases, predisposition to frequent colds, for the prevention of colds and flu
  • as a secondary drug during prolonged antibiotic therapy of chronic infectious diseases associated with decreased immunity.

Contraindications:

  • hypersensitivity to the drug components and botanicals of the Compositae family
  • progressive systemic and autoimmune diseases, such as tuberculosis, leucosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS or HIV infection
  • children up to age 1 year (for oral solution) or 4 years (for tablets).

Application of pregnancy and breast-feeding:

Side effects:

In some cases, may develop hypersensitivity reactions: skin rash, itching, dizziness, bronchospasm, angioedema, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, anaphylactic shock.

Drug interactions:

The solution for the reception inside. Immunal contains alcohol, therefore the drug can amplify or alter the effect of other drugs. Clinically relevant interaction noted with coadministration of each of the following five derivatives of cyclosporine (cefamandol, cefotetan, cefmenoxime, cefoperazone and moxalactam) and alcohol (even small amounts). Overdose:

Special instructions:
