Composition
100 ml of solution contain: the juice squeezed from fresh flowering plants of Echinacea purpurea of 75.6 ml.
Excipients: ethanol 90 % (vol.%).
Packaging
A bottle of 50 ml.
Pharmacological action
Tincture DR. THEISS ECHINACEA FORTE has immunostimulatory and anti-inflammatory action. Increases the phagocytic activity of neutrophils and macrophages, induce transformation of b lymphocytes into plasma cells, improves metabolic processes in the liver, kidney and spleen.
Testimony
Prevention and treatment of colds. Auxiliary treatment of chronic infections of the respiratory and urinary tract.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to the drug.
- Chronic diseases in the acute stage, such as tuberculosis, leukemia, diseases similar to leukemia (leukemia), systemic diseases of connective tissue (collagenosis), multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV infections and other autoimmune diseases.
- Allergic reactions to plants of the Asteraceae family. The elderly and children's age. Pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Method of application and doses
If not prescribed differently, adults and adolescents over 12 years: take 55 drops (which is 2.75 ml) 3-4 times a day.
Drops can be taken pure or dissolved in water in a teaspoon. The technique does not depend on food intake. The drug should not take more than 8 weeks.
Special instructions
Dr. Theiss Echinacea Forte contains 22 vol.% alcohol. Use caution when driving and working with machinery. With caution by persons with liver diseases and patients with alcoholism.
Drug interactions
Reduces the effectiveness of immunosuppressants.
