criconematina acid 50 mg

N-methylglucamine (meglumine) 38,5 g

excipients: benzalkonium chloride 1,2-propylene glycol

The main clinical effect of Cycloferon is associated with the induction of early alpha-interferon. The main cells producing interferon after the application of Cycloferon liniment are epithelial cells and lymphoid elements of the mucous membrane. Cycloferon activates T-lymphocytes and natural killer cells, normalizes the balance between subpopulations of T-helpers and T-suppressors.

The drug increases the biosynthesis of full-functional antibodies (vysokoavidnyh), contributing to a more effective therapy, normalizes the indices of cellular immunity. Anti-inflammatory activity of the drug is ensured by strengthening the functional activity of neutrophils, activation of phagocytosis.

Cycloferon effective against herpes virus, CMV, HIV, HPV and other viruses (prevents reproduction, inhibits the multiplication of viruses). The efficiency of liniment in complex therapy of acute and chronic bacterial infections (chlamydia, bacterial and fungal infections of the genitourinary areas) as a component of immunotherapy.

The effectiveness of liniment in the treatment of chronic periodontitis is manifested by suppression of pathogenic microorganisms, providing a high-quality rehabilitation of the periodontal pockets (increases synthesis of IgA in the fluid of the periodontal pockets to a level of normal), improving the hygienic condition of the oral cavity, disappearance of unpleasant smell from the mouth, and redness and bleeding gums, a significant decrease of mobility of the teeth.

Indications:

Adults in the treatment of diseases such as:

• herpes infection of the skin and mucous membranes
  
• urethritis and balanoposthitis nonspecific and specific (gonorrhea, Candida, and Trichomonas chlamydioses) etiology
  
• nonspecific vaginitis and vaginosis
  
• chronic periodontitis.
  

Contraindications:

• hypersensitivity
  
• pregnancy
  
• the breast-feeding period
  
• children up to age 18 years (clinical studies in children have not been conducted).
  

Application of pregnancy and breast-feeding:

Contraindicated in pregnancy. At the time of treatment should stop breastfeeding.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions. In applying the drug may transient burning, slight local redness. Side effects are mild and do not require discontinuation of the drug.

Drug interactions:

Liniment is compatible and goes well with all drugs traditionally used in the treatment listed in the "Indications" of the disease (chemotherapy drugs, etc.).

Special instructions:

The drug has a bitter taste.

You should not RUB the liniment in the gums.
