The composition and form of issue:
1 ml solution for injection contains insulin lispro 100 IU or 40 vials of 10 ml and the cartridges of 1.5 and 3 ml (only 100 IU/ml).
Feature:
An analogue of human insulin.
Pharmacological action:
Increases the utilization of glucose by tissues, stimulates glycogen synthesis, inhibits glycogenolysis.
Clinical pharmacology:
Onset of action is 15 minutes, maximum after 0.5–2 hours, duration 3-4 hours
Indications:
Diabetes mellitus type I and II.
Contraindications:
Hypoglycemia.
Side effects:
Hypoglycemia, lipodystrophy, allergic reactions.
Drug interactions:
The need for insulin increases oral contraceptives, corticosteroids, thyroid hormones reduce salicylates, sulfonamides and anti-depressants.
Method of application and dose:
N/a. immediately before the meal (dose chosen individually).
Storage conditions:
In use, when t is 15-25 °C.
