Composition and form of release:
Tincture (1:10) on 80% alcohol in dark glass dropper bottles of 25 ml, in a cardboard pack of 1 bottle.
Characteristics:
Transparent liquid of red-brown color with a characteristic smell of propolis.
Method of administration and dosage:
Inside and out. Inside, take 20-60 drops, diluted in 1/4-1/2 cup of water, 3 times a day for 5-30 days (with peptic ulcer disease-3-4 weeks). For microtraumas, wounds, use a tampon soaked in propolis tincture 1-3 times a day. In chronic purulent otitis media, a tampon soaked in propolis tincture is injected into the ear for 1-2 minutes 2-3 times a day, or 1-2 drops are instilled 3-4 times a day. In chronic pharyngitis and tonsillitis, the tonsils are lubricated 1-2 times a day (for 1-2 weeks with tincture, diluted with water (1:2) or inhaled (1-2 inhalations daily for 7-10 days) with an aqueous solution (1:20). In chronic sinusitis, the nasal cavity is washed 2 times a day for 14 days with a tincture mixed with an isotonic solution of sodium chloride (1: 10). In periodontal disease the infusion is administered on turundas in pockets for 5 min after deep curettage. In the presence of wound surfaces on the mucous membrane in the oral cavity, rinses are used (15 ml of tincture per 1/2 cup of warm water) 4-5 times a day for 3-4 days for inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and throat for rinsing 1 teaspoon of tincture is diluted in a glass of water.
