The composition and form of issue:

Suppositories for rectal application. 1 supp. contains:

sodium alginate 0.25 g

excipients: hard fat (witepsol) — a sufficient number to obtain the suppository mass of 2.25 g 

in a contour acheikova package 5 PCs in a pack 2 packs cardboard.

Description pharmaceutical form:

Suppositories light gray with kremovatam white, torpedo-shaped.

Description pharmacological action:

The active ingredient of the drug — sodium alginate is a natural polysaccharide extracted from brown seaweed. Has a pronounced hemostatic, anti-inflammatory and reparative action.

Indications:

• chronic anal fissures in the process of epithelialization
  
• chronic bleeding hemorrhoids
  
• proktoshigmoidit
  
• inflammation in the rectum in the postoperative period.
  

Contraindications:

• hypersensitivity to the drug
  
• children up to age 14 years.
  

Application of pregnancy and breast-feeding:

Natalise the drug is not contraindicated for use in pregnancy and lactation.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible.

Method of application and dose:

Rectal. Suppository injected into the rectum after a spontaneous bowel movement or enema, moisten it with water. Adults and children over 14 years — 1 supp. 2 times a day. The duration of treatment is 7-14 days.

Note: children 6 months to 14 years recommended to use a child form — drug Alginate. Alginate contains 0.25 g of sodium alginate, the weight of 1 supp. — 1,28 g.
