Description pharmaceutical form:
Ointment: white, homogeneous, with a characteristic odor.
Gel: colorless, transparent, with a characteristic odor.
Feature:
Combined product for local use.
Description pharmacological action:
Sodium heparin prevents blood clots, has anti-edematous and anti-inflammatory effect, improves local blood flow.
Allantoin has anti-inflammatory effect, stimulates metabolic processes in tissues and promotes cell proliferation.
Dexpanthenol improves absorption of heparin, stimulates granulation and epithelization tissues.
Indications:
- thrombosis, thrombophlebitis, varicose veins
- sports injuries, tenosynovitis
- the inflammatory infiltrates.
Additionally, for the ointment:
leg sores.
Contraindications:
- hypersensitivity to the drug
- infected lesions of the skin.
Additionally, the gel:
violation of the integrity of the skin.
Application of pregnancy and breast-feeding:
During pregnancy and when breastfeeding, the drug should be used in cases when the expected benefit to the woman outweighs the potential risk to the fetus and infant.
Side effects:
Allergic reactions (skin rash, hyperemia of skin, urticaria, angioedema).
Method of application and dose:
Externally, regardless of age. Ointment (column length of 5 cm) is applied, without rubbing, on the affected area 1-3 times daily in the treatment of diseases of the veins — in the form of bandages, with trophic ulcers — in the form of a ring width of about 4 cm.
In diseases of the veins of the lower limbs the ointment is applied with light rubbing motions in the direction from bottom to top, a single dose recommended to RUB not completely, and separate portions.
The gel is applied in a thin layer, rubbing light massaging movements from the bottom up (and thrombosis thrombophlebitis massing not recommended).
