Structure and Composition: 

1 tablet contains bisacodyl 5 mg in blister packs of 30 pieces.

Pharmachologic effect:

Increases of mucus secretion in the colon, it accelerates and enhances motility.

Indications:

Constipation, cleansing the colon in preparation for surgical procedures and diagnostic examinations.

Contraindications:

Intestinal obstruction, abdominal pain of unknown etiology, acute inflammatory conditions of the colon.

Side effect:

Pain in the stomach, intestinal colic, long-term use (or overdose) - diarrhea with dehydration and loss of electrolytes (especially potassium).

Dosage and administration:

Inside, at bedtime or 30 minutes before breakfast. Adults with constipation - 1-2 pills in preparation for operations, diagnostic tests - 2-4 dragees.

Children aged 2 to 7 years - 1 tablet per day, 8-14 years - 1-2 tablets a day.

Precautionary measures:

Used with caution during pregnancy and lactation (it is better to abstain from breast-feeding), diseases of the liver and kidneys.
