Pharmachologic effect:

Antidiarrheal drug of natural origin, has an adsorbing effect. It stabilizes the mucosal barrier due to multivalent forms of mucus glycoprotein, increases the amount of mucus, improves its gastroprotective properties (against the action of hydrochloric acid, bile salts, microorganisms and their toxins). It has selective sorption properties, which explains its discoid-crystalline structure. Adsorbs located in the lumen of the GI tract bacteria and viruses. At therapeutic doses has no direct effect on intestinal motility.

Pharmacokinetics:

Not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, it appears unchanged.

Dosage and administration:

The drug is taken orally.

Children under the age of 1 year appoint 3 g (1 bag) per day at the age of 1-2 years - 6 g (2 bags) per day over 2 years - 6-9 g (2-3 bags) per day. Multiplicity of reception - 3 times / day. The contents of the sachet is dissolved in 50 ml of fluid.

Side effects:
