The composition and form of issue:
Ear drops 1 ml contains:
clotrimazole 10 mg
chloramphenicol 50 mg
beclomethasone dipropionate (anhydrous) 0.25 mg
lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate (in terms of lidocaine hydrochloride) 20 mg
excipients: glycerol propylene glycol
in dark glass bottles to 5 ml complete with stopper-pipette in the box 1 set.
Description pharmaceutical form:
A clear solution of yellowish color.
Description pharmacological action:
Clotrimazole — antifungal means of broad-spectrum for local use. The antifungal effect of clotrimazole (an imidazole derivative) is associated with impaired synthesis of ergosterol, part of the cell membrane of fungi, which changes its permeability and causes subsequent cell lysis.
Chloramphenicol is a bacteriostatic broad-spectrum antibiotic. Disrupts the process of protein synthesis in the microbial cell. Active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
Beclomethasone dipropionate is a glucocorticosteroid. Anti-inflammatory and antiallergic action.
The lignocaine — a local anesthetic agent. Causes reversible blockade of impulse conduction along the nerve fibers by blocking the passage of sodium ions through the membrane.
Indications:
Allergic and inflammatory diseases of the ear.
Contraindications:
- hypersensitivity to the drug
- violation of the integrity of the tympanic membrane
- children up to age 6 years
- pregnancy
- the period of breastfeeding.
Application of pregnancy and breast-feeding:
Contraindicated in pregnancy. At the time of treatment should stop breastfeeding.
Side effects:
Rarely — itching and burning at the site of application, allergic reactions are possible.
Drug interactions:
Has not been studied.
Method of application and dose:
Locally, 4-5 drops in the ear canal 3-4 times a day. Improvement occurs within 3-5 days. The course of treatment — 7-10 days.
