Pharmacological action
Medifox - protivoparazitarnae tool. It has a toxic effect on scabies mites and lice. The drug is not toxic to warm-blooded animals and humans and when applied to the skin in the recommended doses and concentrations does not have skin-resorptive, locally irritating and sensitizing effect.
Indications
Pediculosis, scabies (in adults).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity (including to other synthetic pyrethroids, chrysanthemums and other plants containing pyrethrines), childhood up to 2 months.
Dosage and administration
Applied externally in the form of freshly prepared 0, 4% aqueous emulsion. To obtain an emulsion, the contents of 4 ampoules or 1 vial of Medifox are added to 100 ml of water at room temperature or a corresponding dilution is prepared from the drug packaged in bottles. The emulsion should be applied by hand, rubbing into the skin of the body, starting with the upper limbs, then the trunk and lower limbs. Not subject

Special instruction
Avoid contact with mucous membranes of eyes, nose, oral cavity, external genitalia (if that happened, mucous membranes rinsed with running water). Medical personnel are advised to wear rubber gloves. After the procedure, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Procedures should be carried out in a well-ventilated area. While taking other drugs or the presence of concomitant diseases of the scalp requires mandatory medical advice before treatment. If itching continues for more than 4 weeks after the treatment of scabies, a doctor's consultation is required. The occurrence of hypersensitivity reactions requires discontinuation of treatment.
Storage conditions
