Inside, you should choose and assign the lowest effective dose.
Adults
For the treatment of allergic diseases: normally 25 mg 1 time a day at bedtime or 2 times (morning and evening) before meals.
For the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting: 25 mg once, if necessary — 25 mg every 4-6 h
For the treatment of disorders associated with the vestibular apparatus (when traveling on the transport): usually 25 mg 2 times a day, first dose it is recommended to take 1/2–1 hour before trip, followed by a reception — through 8-12 h
Surgery: before surgery (at bedtime) as a sedative, once — 25-50 mg.
The maximum daily dose promethazine for adults — 150 mg.
Children
Pills not recommended to share, so the application of this pharmaceutical form to children under 6 years not recommended.
Children aged 6-14 years — 1 tablet (25 mg) 3-4 times a day.
V/m, it is recommended to produce deep I/m injection. You should choose the lowest effective dose.
The/m introduction is useful in the following cases:
- as adjunctive therapy for anaphylactic reactions
in the case where oral administration is contraindicated or impossible
- as a sedative in the pre - and postoperative period, as well as to enhance the effect of analgesics and anesthetics.
Adults
Usual dose — 25 mg 1 time a day, if necessary — for 12, 5-25 mg every 4-6 h
For the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting: once a 25 mg.
If you are planning surgery: 25-50 mg the evening before surgery or 2, 5 h before surgery, 50 mg in the composition of the lytic compounds, if necessary, after 1 h can be repeated.

Children
