MUKOFALK is a laxative.

Indications for use

• constipation (including during pregnancy),
• anal fissures,
• hemorrhoids,
• postoperative period with interventions in the anorectal area (in order to create a softer stool consistency),
• functional diarrhea,
• irritable bowel syndrome.

Contraindications

• hypersensitivity to the drug,
• organic strictures of the gastrointestinal tract,
• intestinal obstruction,
• decompensated diabetes mellitus,
• children's age (up to 12 years).

Use during pregnancy and lactation

There are no restrictions or contraindications for taking the drug during pregnancy and lactation.

In the first days of treatment, flatulence may increase and a feeling of fullness in the abdomen may appear.

Interaction

It should not be prescribed simultaneously with antidiarrheal medications, as well as with drugs that inhibit intestinal motility.

An interval of 30-60 minutes should be observed between taking Mucofalk and other medications.

In patients with insulin-dependent diabetes, it may be necessary to reduce the dose of insulin.

Method of administration and dosage

Inside.

Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 sachet or 1 teaspoon 26 times a day. Before use, the contents of 1 sachet or 1 teaspoon are poured into a glass, which is slowly filled with cold water (150 ml), stirred and immediately drunk. Then they are washed down with another glass of liquid.

Special instructions

When taking the drug, you should drink at least 1.5 liters of liquid per day.
