Description pharmaceutical form:

White, glossy, round pills with low odor of vanilla.

Pharmachologic effect:

Compensates for lack of exocrine pancreatic function due to pancreatin and biliary liver function due to gall component.

It has a proteolytic, amylolytic and lipolytic action. Included in the pancreatin enzymes - amylase, protease and lipase - facilitate the digestion of carbohydrates, fats and proteins, which contributes to a more complete absorption in the small intestine. In this respect, practically no different from other enzyme preparations.

The presence of bile acids provides additional opportunities for correction of biliary insufficiency, which is often associated with chronic pancreatitis.

Bile extract choleretic effect, and facilitates absorption of fat soluble vitamins A, E and K, promotes the release of pancreatic lipase.

Hemicellulase enzyme promotes cleavage of fiber that improves digestive processes, reduces the formation of gas in the intestine.

Indications:

lack of exocrine pancreatic function in chronic pancreatitis combined with biliary insufficiency due to various pathological conditions clinically manifest violation of the digestion of food, flatulence, tendency to constipation, as part of combination therapy for:

  • Diffuse liver diseases - alcoholic and toxic liver damage, cirrhosis of the liver
  • The large losses of bile acids (in patients after cholecystectomy)
  • Violation of the circulation of bile acids observed in biliary dyskinesia, overgrowth, malabsorption
  • Violation of neurohumoral regulation processes of bile formation and secretion of chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract - chronic gastritis, chronic duodenitis, chronic cholecystitis
  • to improve food digestion in patients with normal gastrointestinal function in the event of errors in nutrition, as well as in violation of chewing function, forced prolonged immobilization, sedentary lifestyle
  • preparations for X-ray and ultrasound examination of the abdominal cavity.
