Pharmachologic effect: Enterosorbent

Enterosgel is porous silicon matrix (molecular sponge) hydrophobic nature which is characterized by the sorption effect only with respect to toxic metabolites with medium weight (M.W. 70 to 1000).

Enterosgel has pronounced sorption and detoxification properties. In the lumen of the gastrointestinal drug binds and removes from the body's endogenous and exogenous toxic substances of different nature, including bacteria and bacterial toxins, antigens, food allergens, drugs, poisons, heavy metals, alcohol.

The drug also absorbs the metabolic products of the body, including an excess of bilirubin, urea, cholesterol, lipid complexes, as well as the metabolites responsible for the development of endogenous toxicosis.
