Description pharmaceutical form:
Tablets (ODT): round pill valium forms, from white to slightly white-yellowish color with a chamfer, sometimes with separate dark inclusions.
The oral solution: clear, light yellow fluid, possibly with a hint of greenish color, with the smell of alcohol and a spicy, slightly sweet flavor.
Feature:
Complex homeopathic drug.
Indications:
Influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections (prevention and treatment).
Contraindications:
Both formulations: hypersensitivity to the drug.
Tablets: children under 3 years of age (no sufficient clinical data).
The solution for the reception inside: children up to age 12 years (due to alcohol content).
Application of pregnancy and breast-feeding:
During pregnancy and breastfeeding perhaps the use only if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus (baby).
Side effects:
Both dosage forms: allergic reactions are possible.
Drug interactions:
Both dosage forms: none identified. Reception of homeopathic drugs does not preclude treatment with other drugs.
Method of application and dose:
Inside (to keep the drops before swallowing a while in the mouth, the tablets dissolve to dissolve), half an hour before or half an hour after a meal. Children 3-6 years are recommended to dissolve the tablet in a small amount of liquid or powdered form, under the tongue.
In acute diseases: adults and children over 12 years — 1 table. or 10 drops every hour (not more than 12 times daily) until improvement, then on the table 1-2. or 10-20 drops 3 times a day (until full recovery) children 3-6 years — 1 table. every 2 h (up to 6 times per day) until onset of improvement in the future — at the 1/2 table. 3 times a day until complete recovery, children 6-12 years — 1 table. every hour (not more than 7-8 times a day) until onset of improvement in the future — 1 table. 3 times a day until complete recovery.
In the absence of improvement after 2 days of treatment the drug should be discontinued and consult a doctor.
For prevention: adults and children over 12 years 1-2 tab. or 10-20 drops 3 times daily children 3-6 years — 1/2 table. 2 times a day children 6 to 12 years — 1 table. 2 times a day.
Precautions:
The drug tablets may negatively affect patients with celiac disease (because of the content of wheat starch). If necessary, use of the drug in such patients should be prescribed oral solution.
Special instructions:
When using homeopathic medicines in the beginning of treatment you may experience temporary primary worsening. In this case, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
