Pharmacological action

POTASSIUM CHLORIDE BUFUS drug, restores the water-electrolyte balance. Has a negative Chrono - and batmotropnoe action, at high doses, negative Ino - and Chrono dromotroponoe, and a moderate diuretic effect. In small doses, K+ dilates coronary vessels, large - narrow. Involved in the process of conducting nerve impulses. Intravenous administration increases the secretion of epinephrine by the adrenal glands.

Activates a cytoplasmic enzyme, is involved in maintaining intracellular osmotic pressure in protein-synthesis reactions and the transport of amino acids. Improves the contraction of skeletal muscles in muscular dystrophy, myasthenia gravis. Increasing the concentration of K+ reduces the risk of toxic cardiac glycosides.
