Pharmacological action
The preparation for external use. Belosalic® lotion has anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, antiedematous, antiallergic, antiproliferative, antiviral, keratolytic, antimicrobial, antifungal action.
Betamethasone dipropionate is a synthetic corticosteroids that has anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, antipruritic and vasoconstrictive effect. When applied to the surface of the skin constricts blood vessels, relieves itching, reduces the release of inflammatory mediators (eosinophils and mast cells), interleukins 1 and 2, interferon-gamma (lymphocytes and macrophages), and inhibits the activity of hyaluronidase and reduces the permeability of the vascular wall. Interacts with specific receptors in the cytoplasm of cells, stimulates the synthesis of mRNA, inducing the formation of proteins, including lipokortina, mediating cellular effects. Lipokortin inhibits phospholipase A2, inhibits the release of arachidonic acid and the biosynthesis endoperekisey, prostaglandins, leukotrienes (contributing to inflammation, allergies and other pathological processes).
Salicylic acid due to the keratolytic action cleans the lesion from the flakes, promotes the penetration of the betamethasone into the skin, maintains the acidic environment of the skin, preventing the development of bacterial and fungal infection.
