The composition and form of issue: 

Suppositories for rectal application, 1 supp.contains:

diclofenac (sodium salt) 50 or 100 mg

auxiliary substances: colloidal solution of silicon dioxide miglyol 812 solid fat 

in blistere 5 PCs in a carton 2 blisters.

Pharmacological action:

Blocks the cyclooxygenase, decreases the synthesis of PG and tromboksanov, suppresses exudative and proliferative phases of inflammation. Reduces the amount of serotonin, histamine and bradykinin, increases the threshold of sensitivity of pain receptors: it reduces the concentration of GHGs in the thermoregulation center of the hypothalamus, enhances heat transfer.

Pharmacokinetics:

Well absorbed in the digestive tract, in plasma almost completely bound to proteins in the blood (66-99%). Quickly penetrates the tissues and synovial fluid, where it is stored for 4-6 h longer than in the blood. T1/2 — 1, 1-2 hours Metabolized in the liver. Excreted in the urine (65%) and bile (35%).

Indications:

Rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis deformans, periarticular inflammation, post-inflammatory and painful condition of the soft tissues and joints, tenosynovitis, neuritis, synovitis, acute muscular pain, neuralgia, back pain and toothache.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, ulcers disease stomach and duodenal ulcers, bronchial asthma, cardiovascular insufficiency, arterial hypertension, diseases of the liver and kidneys, children's and teenage age (till 12 years), pregnancy, lactation (should abandon breastfeeding).

Side effects:

Headache, dizziness, insomnia, anxiety, weakness, tiredness, nervousness, depression symptoms, relapse and exacerbation of ulcers stomach and duodenal ulcers, hair loss, increased levels of aminotransferases in the blood, allergic reactions.

Drug interactions:

Displace (mutually) of the drug from the blood blood. Increases toxicity of methotrexate, effect anticoagulants (coumarin derivatives) weakens — diuretics and aspirin. Increases blood concentration of digitalis glycosides, and lithium.

Method of application and dose:

Rectal. The recommended daily intake from 100 to 150 mg should be divided into 2-3 reception. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose — 200 mg.
