Vaginal suppositories 1 soup.: dexpanthenol (D-panthenol) 0, 1 g, chlorhexidine bigluconate (chlorhexidine) 0, 016 g, polyethylene oxide base (macrogol 1500, macrogol 400) - sufficient to obtain a suppository weight of 3 g —  

Description of dosage form:

Suppositories white or white with a grayish or yellowish tint of color, torpedo-shaped. Allowed marbling surface.Cream white or almost white

Description of pharmacological action:

Depanthol vaginal suppositories combined preparation for local application, providing regenerative, antiseptic, metabolic effect.Chlorhexidine, which is part of the drug, is active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria: Treponema pallidum, Chlamydia spp., Ureaplasma spp., Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Gardnerella vaginalis, Bacteroides fragilis, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., yeast fungi, dermatophytes, protozoa (Trichomonas vaginalis). Some strains of Pseudomonas spp are slightly sensitive to the drug., Proteus spp. and resistant acid-resistant forms of bacteria, bacteria spores.Dexpanthenol, which is part of the drug, stimulates the regeneration of the mucous membranes, normalizes cell metabolism, accelerates mitosis and increases the strength of collagen fibers. Does not violate the functional activity of lactobacilli. Keeps activity (though slightly reduced) in the presence of blood, pus.

Indications:

Depanthol® vaginal suppositories are allowed for use during pregnancy and lactation

Side effect:

Vaginal suppositories-possible allergic reactions, itching and burning in the application site, taking place after discontinuation of the drug.

Drug interaction:

Chlorhexidine is incompatible with soap and other anionic solutions.

Dosage and administration:

Vaginal suppositories — intravaginal, pre-releasing from the contour packaging.Enter 1 soup. 2 times a day, for 7-10 days. If necessary, it is possible to extend the course of treatment up to 20 days.

Special instruction:

Vaginal suppositories are not compatible with detergents containing anionic group (saponins, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose), and soap if they are used vaginally.
